Thanks for a great season!

Heartfelt thanks to friends, neighbors, and those who just happened to stop by for making my opening season so much fun!  It was great to chat with you each Saturday and to meet new friends.

I'll be closed until Spring, but keep visiting back here to double-check...you just may see a Pop-Up Sale before then.

Maybe Valentine's Day goodies or warm loaves of bread & rolls along with Mason Jars of old-fashioned soup mixes...just right for quick & easy meals on these frosty winter days.

Until then, I'm sending wishes for a wonderful new year...
see you in 2024!

OPEN - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1:00 - 4:00 LAST DAY THIS YEAR!

As I end my first season of Sweet Meadow Dairy, I want to express a heartfelt thanks to all who have encouraged me and my little cottage foods shop - family, friends, neighbors, and those who have just stopped by on a whim. It's been important to me to have a little spot where you can find homemade, tried & true, handed down recipes, along with foods that are in-season and made with local ingredients.

Thank you so much for your support!

Saturday, December 9 will be my last open day for the year...but check back from time-to-time...you never know when I will have a surprise Pop Up Sale before opening again full time in the Spring.

This last December sale will again be Cookie Week - you'll find several different kinds of cookies packaged for you to take home and fill tins or cookie boxes for gift giving.

You'll find some cookie plates with a variety of cookies ready to share, along with festive Mason Jars filled with treats and Layered Jar Mixes.  As always, there are jars of honey along with homemade jams.

This week there are also a few vintage pieces that will make extra-special gifts...keeping Christmas colors in mind, I have some Ruby Glass along with green candy dishes. I also have two sweet retro cookie jars - One by Red Wing known as Happy the Children Cookie Jar (1959-1967) and a McCoy Cookie Jar with Red Flowers (1945-1954). I've done my best to research the pieces so you will find them at a fair price. Some will have cookies tucked inside, but you can always purchase them separately if you'd like.

Wishing you all the best of the season; may you be blessed with the warmth of family and friends, and know the true joys of the Christmas season.

OPEN Saturday, December 2 1:00 - 4:00

 It's cookie week!

A note to let you know that Mae and I have been baking all week long!

When you stop in, you'll find oodles of cookies, all baked with love, prepackaged for sharing with family & friends, neighbors, teachers, mail carriers, and co-workers...even slipping into Christmas stockings.

Snickerdoodles, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Mint, Gingersnaps, Peanut Butter Blossoms, Buckeyes, and Sugar Cookies.

I also have Mason Jars filled with layered cookie mixes, and a selection of vintage/retro Christmas ornaments available if you'd like to add to your collection.

Just a note: December 2 will be the last day to find choose-your-own cookies, along with gift bags to slip them into, for holiday gift giving.

December 9 will be the last day I'm open this year, and while it will still be cookie week, all cookies will be a bagged variety and arranged in tins, cookie boxes, cookie jars, or on plates, also tucked into bowls or cups - ready for gift-giving!

While the tins and cookie boxes are new, the bowls/cups/plates are vintage Depression Glass (1929-1939) or old pottery (1940's).

Because of this, the prices will include not only the cookies, but the value of the glassware/pottery.

These are beautiful old items found at farm auctions, barn sales, estate sales, or flea markets...sharing these sweet vintage containers is at the heart of what I want to do, as well as following the wise example of our grandmothers: reduce, reuse, recycle.

Thanks so much for stopping by and supporting my small business - I appreciate you all so very much!
